The role
Support small and large civil infrastructure assignments involving linear infrastructure rehabilitation, stormwater management, low-impact development and water, wastewater and stormwater networks. The EIT or graduate contributes to preliminary and detailed design, master plans, environmental assessments, CAD drafting, construction drawings, bid documents, specifications and cost estimates under the direction of project engineers and managers. Field responsibilities include data collection, construction-site reviews, meetings, status documentation and record drawings.
Requirements
Degree in civil engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience, plus at least two years of related experience including co-op or internship. Familiarity with water distribution, stormwater and wastewater collection is required. AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, PCSWMM, StormCAD, WaterCAD or comparable modelling software is an asset; Microsoft Office proficiency, communication, organization, prioritization and flexibility are also required.
