The role
Lead commercial and contract management for Metrolinx rail and transit infrastructure and service agreements. The manager develops contracting and negotiation strategies, administers complex agreements and amendments, assesses claims and changes, supports dispute resolution and closeout, advises project teams and executives, monitors obligations and payment readiness and coordinates commercial risk decisions with Legal, Procurement, Operations, consultants and contractors.
Requirements
Degree in civil engineering, contract or construction law, business, public administration or a related discipline, or equivalent education, training and experience. Requires progressive experience or training in planning, design, construction and operation of rail or transit infrastructure and services, including large complex multi-year projects or operational contracts; high-value contract negotiation and management; multidisciplinary stakeholder work; contract administration, claims, dispute resolution, commercial governance and risk analysis. P.Eng., C.E.T., PMP, CCCA and CROR credentials are assets. No minimum number of years is stated.
