The role
Lead project controls for the Aecon-Framatome steam-generator replacement joint venture within Bruce Power's Major Component Replacement and life-extension program. The manager establishes integrated cost and schedule baselines, reporting, earned-value and change-management plans; monitors performance, productivity, risk and forecasts; supports subcontractor and client claims; directs commercial and contract-control requirements; manages staffing and recruitment; and leads planning, scheduling, cost-control, change and risk specialists.
Requirements
Minimum 10 to 15 years of EPC-contractor or related experience; post-secondary degree in a quantitative discipline, engineering, construction management or a related field preferred; applied knowledge of earned value, project management, project controls and cost engineering; expert Microsoft Excel, Primavera P6 and SAP knowledge; strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. Mega-project and construction-field experience, PMI or AACE certification and cost-management or estimating-system expertise are assets.
