The role
Support integrated digital delivery for Aecon Civil's roads, bridges, tunnels, transit, airport, port and site-development portfolio. The role coordinates BIM, GIS and digital-construction activities across design, estimating, planning and field execution; develops phased 2D and 3D site drawings and road alignments; produces model-based quantities; manages discipline interfaces and project information models; supports 4D and 5D workflows, constructability and digital logistics; and maintains the master BIM database for active jobsites.
Requirements
Engineering degree or an equivalent combination of technical training and civil-construction experience; 5+ years on large infrastructure projects; infrastructure BIM implementation experience; knowledge of ISO 19650 and Canadian BIM standards; expertise with federation platforms such as Assemble, Navisworks or Bentley Navigator; proficiency auditing Revit and Civil 3D models; experience with 4D scheduling, 5D estimating, model-based quantity take-offs and common data environments such as ProjectWise or Aconex; understanding of construction, project lifecycles and EHS requirements.
