The role
Egis is seeking a senior civil engineer to lead land development and municipal infrastructure assignments from planning and design through construction and post-construction acceptance. The portfolio includes subdivisions, mixed-use and site-plan developments, grading, stormwater, water and sanitary servicing, roads, utility coordination, bridges and culverts. The role directs multidisciplinary teams, manages clients and approvals, oversees project finances and contracts, resolves construction issues, mentors staff, and promotes sustainable and resilient design.
Requirements
University degree in civil engineering; Ontario P.Eng. licence in good standing; 10+ years of land development design experience; working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D; understanding of the land development process and consulting engineering; project management experience; familiarity with PCSWMM, HEC-RAS, WaterCAD, SewerCAD or EPANET; strong communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills; valid driver’s licence and access to an insured, registered vehicle. French is an asset.
