The role
Aecon Nuclear is recruiting a senior project coordinator for the Darlington New Nuclear Project. The position coordinates engineering planning, organization, control, integration and completion for defined construction work packages and manages concrete production, including the supply chain and inspection plan. Responsibilities include maintaining work packages and concrete-delivery schedules, coordinating specifications, as-built drawings, quality and turnover documentation, assuring compliance of concrete production and delivery, linking the supplier with construction teams, forecasting changes, managing site procurement and material traceability, preparing detailed work plans, touring the field and completing safety inspections.
Requirements
Post-secondary education in engineering or an electrical discipline, at least 5 years of project engineering experience in construction or EPC, and at least 5 years in instrumentation and controls. Requires oral and written communication, interpersonal, organizational and time-management skills and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. A related master's degree, a P.Eng. designation or progress toward it, and experience under a nuclear quality program are assets or preferred qualifications.
