The role
Support Aecon's new-build nuclear portfolio, including small modular reactors, gigawatt-scale reactors and other emerging projects. The senior manager advances Canadian opportunities and proposals, coordinates cross-functional engineering, estimating, construction and project-controls teams, develops execution strategies and schedules, monitors safety, quality, cost and schedule metrics, resolves constructability issues, plans resources and materials and leads stakeholder reporting and recovery actions.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or diploma in construction management, engineering or another field relevant to nuclear construction; minimum 15 years of project management experience, including at least 5 years in an EPC or service-construction environment; knowledge of nuclear projects, estimating, controls, construction, finance and Canadian labour relations; strong budgeting, costing, scheduling, leadership, communication and analytical skills. PMP is preferred. Heavy-civil, engineered or structural fabrication, mechanical installation, specialty welding or advanced modular-construction experience is desired.
