The role
CIMA+ is seeking a civil infrastructure engineer in Vancouver to deliver municipal, industrial and urban projects from concept through construction. The work covers site development and grading, water, sewer and drainage servicing, access roads, stormwater management and underground utility coordination. The engineer prepares hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, drawings, reports, estimates and tender documents, undertakes site inspections, supports permitting and environmental compliance, and coordinates multidisciplinary design and construction teams.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering; 5+ years of relevant experience; BC P.Eng. registration or eligibility; experience in site development, grading, paving, drainage and construction administration; Civil 3D and/or InRoads/OpenRoads plus GIS; multidisciplinary coordination; knowledge of Lower Mainland municipal standards, MMCD requirements and applicable regulation. Water/wastewater network design, hydraulic modelling and surge analysis are assets, as is familiarity with environmental permitting under the Water Sustainability Act and federal fisheries requirements.
