The role
This Edmonton role supports land development, municipal servicing and heavy civil infrastructure projects from concept through construction and final acceptance. Assignments may include subdivisions, site plans, grading, stormwater management, water and sanitary servicing, roads, utility coordination, bridges and culverts. The engineer contributes to multidisciplinary delivery, municipal and environmental approvals, budgeting and contract administration, construction reviews and inspections, quality control, and sustainable low-impact development solutions.
Requirements
University degree in civil engineering; Alberta P.Eng. licence in good standing; at least 5 years of land development design experience; working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D; understanding of land development and municipal engineering fundamentals; strong communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills; valid driver’s licence and access to an insured, registered vehicle. Consulting and project management experience is an asset; French is an asset.
