The role
Supervise civil work on Aecon Energy Solutions' WBK duct-bank project in West Kelowna and support utility infrastructure such as district-energy systems, hydro duct banks and gas distribution. The foreperson leads field crews, maintains safety and quality, coordinates equipment servicing, tracks progress, risks and forecasts with supervisors and project managers and addresses hazardous or unproductive conditions while protecting schedule milestones.
Requirements
Proven experience as a civil foreperson or supervisor in utility or infrastructure construction; knowledge of trenching, duct-bank installation and site restoration; leadership, communication and problem-solving skills; commitment to safety and quality; valid driver's licence and clean driving record; ability to work outdoors in physically demanding conditions. District-energy, hydro-duct and gas-distribution experience is an asset. Written and spoken English fluency is required.
