The role
Lead and support industrial-water projects for mining and metals, oil and gas, desalination and data-centre clients, balancing design engineering with practical field problem-solving. The engineer leads studies, designs, reports and presentations; develops advanced water-management and treatment solutions; prepares proposals and client communications; maintains quality assurance and control; collaborates with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders; promotes Hatch's industrial-water services; and mentors junior engineers.
Requirements
15+ years of industrial-water experience in mining and metals, oil and gas, desalination and/or data centres; practical expertise in mine-water treatment and advanced technologies such as ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis, evaporation and crystallization; strong knowledge of treatment processes and design management; recognized technical leadership in industrial water; advanced water-treatment modelling skills; excellent verbal, written and presentation communication; commitment to innovation, mentoring and knowledge sharing.
