The role
Coordinate proposals and pre-construction activities for Aecon’s Calgary transportation and foundations operations. The role links estimating, project management and operations by assembling RFQs, RFPs, tenders, expressions of interest and prequalification packages; maintaining pursuit schedules and records; and preparing environmental construction-operation plans, project schedules, traffic-accommodation strategies, purchase orders, subcontract agreements and utility-locate requests.
Requirements
One to three years of experience in administration, proposal coordination or project coordination. Construction-industry experience is an asset. Requires proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, experience with SharePoint and document-management systems, strong document-formatting and editing ability, proven organization, capacity to plan for multiple deadlines under pressure and ability to work effectively in a team.
