The role
Support the quality management system for Hamilton LRT Package 1, Civil & Utilities, during development of design, cost and construction schedules. The coordinator monitors subcontractor quality controls, performs site surveillance and audits, reviews records for City of Hamilton, MTO and regulatory compliance, manages non-conformances and corrective actions, maintains quality documentation, analyzes performance trends and promotes lessons learned and continuous improvement.
Requirements
Degree or diploma in civil engineering, construction management, engineering technology or a related discipline; 5 to 10 years supporting construction-site quality assurance; ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification; experience with audits, non-conformances, corrective actions, document-control repositories and electronic quality systems. Major infrastructure, transit or heavy-civil experience, ASQ CQA and knowledge of MTO or municipal quality requirements are assets.
