The role
Lead civil interferences and services work supporting the steam-generator replacement program within the Pickering nuclear refurbishment. The manager is accountable for safety, contract compliance, cost, schedule, quality and risk across the assigned scope; leads a matrix team spanning construction, engineering, training, tooling, quality, procurement and work-package development; coordinates client change requests and deliverables; directs civil field execution; and ensures technical support is available during planning and construction.
Requirements
Technical post-secondary degree or diploma; 3 to 5 years of related experience, preferably in nuclear refurbishment; detailed work-planning experience covering scope, staffing, budget and schedule; EPC-contractor experience; project-management knowledge, with PMI certification noted as an example; Primavera P6 knowledge; demonstrated leadership of construction trades and professional project staff. Nuclear field, mega-project and portfolio experience are assets.
