The role
Prepare civil and structural design deliverables for infrastructure and industrial projects from early studies and conceptual layouts through detailed engineering and construction support. The designer produces and reviews 2D drawings and 3D models for concrete and steel structures, bridges, retaining walls, culverts, pump stations and water-retaining structures; coordinates multidisciplinary models and clash detection; supports scope, schedule, budget and quality; and conducts field verification and construction reviews.
Requirements
Diploma in civil engineering technology, structural engineering technology or a related discipline; at least 5 years of civil and structural design experience; multidisciplinary EPCM, consulting-engineering or industrial-project experience; proficiency with civil and structural 2D and 3D design software; knowledge of engineering principles, codes and standards; strong communication, collaboration and safety commitment. BIM, major infrastructure or industrial-project support and coordination of junior designers and drafters are preferred.
