The role
Oversee work planning and interfaces for the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station Refurbishment Project, where the CanAtom joint venture of Aecon and AtkinsRéalis is replacing retube, feeder and boiler components in Units 5-8 under contract with Ontario Power Generation. The lead participates in the project-readiness process, integrates CanAtom work with station operations, the client and other contractors, monitors execution schedules, identifies cost and schedule risks and opportunities, and brings CANDU operating expertise to area managers, series leads and coordinators.
Requirements
15+ years of related experience, including 10+ years of CANDU operational experience; university degree and/or college diploma; proficiency with Microsoft Office. The role requires the ability to assess integrated schedules, identify execution risks and mitigations and advise project leaders using CANDU operational knowledge.
